ABOUT CCITNHS
Candon City Information Technology National High School was founded to respond to the needs of the residents in the southwestern barangays in the City of Candon especially the youth who bear the determination to pursue their schooling in the secondary level.

The school opened last June of 2004 with five volunteer teachers of the twenty-three pioneer students.
"Formed in the spirit of dynamic growth, social justice and intellectual pursuits."

Candon City Information Technology National High School (CCITNHS), the first ever public Information Technology high school in the Philippines, was created on December 1, 2003 through the Memorandum of Agreement signed by the First Party, Mr. Jorge M. Reinante who was then the Officer-In-Charge Office of the Schools Division Superintendent representing the Department of Education and the Second Party, Honorable Grace G. Singson who was then the City Mayor representing the Local Government of Candon City, Ilocos Sur.
The school first operated on June 2004 and offered First Year High School Program. On its second year of operation, it offers up to Second Year level and eventually a complete High School on its fourth year of operation, to present.
From the old primary school of Patpata 2nd occupied for the first two years, CCITNHS moved to its new building situated within the compound of Patpata Elementary School last July of 2006 and was inaugurated December of the same year.
